Sports & Recreation

Adaptive sports build strength, restore confidence, and reconnect veterans with the community.

The Mountain States Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America provides adaptive sports and recreational opportunities for veterans living with spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis (MS), and ALS across Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.

Our programs are designed for all ability levels, whether a veteran is newly injured, returning to activity, or pursuing competitive goals. From local clinics and outdoor recreation to regional and national events, these experiences improve physical health, foster independence, and strengthen connections.

Participation in adaptive sports is not only about movement. It is about identity, possibility, and belonging.

We work alongside trusted partners throughout the Mountain States region to ensure veterans have access to safe, accessible, and meaningful opportunities to stay active and engaged.

Stay informed about upcoming events and veteran stories through our quarterly Newsletter.
