Advocacy protects access, independence, and dignity.

The Mountain States Chapter advocates for veterans living with spinal cord injuries and diseases to ensure access to high-quality VA health care, earned benefits, and long-term support services. As one of 33 chapters of the Paralyzed Veterans of America, we are also aligned with national PVA advocacy efforts that impact veterans nationwide. We collaborate with national leadership, VA partners, and policymakers to elevate veterans’ voices and address systemic barriers that impact daily life.
Advocacy is practical and action-oriented. It includes supporting veterans in navigating the benefits system, strengthening partnerships with VA health care teams, and advancing legislative priorities that protect access and independence across the Mountain States Region. Ongoing advocacy updates and policy developments are shared through our Newsletter.
