High Country, High Standards
Our mission is to improve the quality of life of veterans living with spinal cord injuries and diseases through advocacy, connection, sport, and access to trusted resources — so no veteran faces life with paralysis alone.
The Mountain States Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America (MSCPVA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving veterans living with spinal cord injuries and diseases, including multiple sclerosis (MS) and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), across Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.
Chartered in 1955 and led by veterans, our chapter works alongside volunteers, community partners, and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) health care teams to strengthen independence, improve access to care, and foster meaningful connections. We are one of 33 chapters of Paralyzed Veterans of America, a congressionally chartered veterans service organization founded in 1946.
